Origin of the New Year in Ecuador

One theory is that the ritual probably has links with the suppression of Aboriginal Indo Americans by the Spaniards.
Typical food
Roast turkey: easy to roast turkey with thyme, lemon, garlic and butter recipe.
Hornado pork: Ecuador to hornado leg marinated pork with garlic and cumin dressing, soaked with beer or chicha, and baked for several hours Recipe.
Pork: the roast pork is prepared seasoning the meat with a marinade of sour orange, onion, garlic, achiote, cloves, cinnamon, cumin and brown sugar, then baked at low heat for several hours.
